Volunteering Opportunities

We are looking for caring and supportive people to join our teams.  Please consider using your skills to assist us.

Are you looking to gain new skills and experience? Do you want to want to support delivering our services and to make a difference? Do you have skills and experience that you can offer?

Volunteering can be a rewarding experience and at the same time enables you to meet new people and be part of a team that is passionate about making a difference to the lives of people affected by domestic and/or sexual violence.

We provide a range of volunteering opportunities across the services we deliver as part of the United Against Violence & Abuse (UAVA) consortium. If you are interested in finding our more, then please visit:

Here is what some of our volunteers have said about volunteering on our helpline:

“The helpline workers are amazing at getting me ready for taking live calls, they are always supportive, and they waited until I was ready.” Helpline volunteer

“I feel supported by staff and management, if I am stuck, they are always there to help out and check if I am ok or if I need a break” Helpline volunteer

You can also volunteer in other ways and we always keen to hear from you if you would like to fundraise for us or other ways you think you could support our charity. We would love to hear from you so contact us to share your ideas.

“Volunteers don’t get paid, not because they’re worthless, but because they’re priceless.” – Sherry Anderson
