Therapeutic Support/Counselling – Adults

We understand domestic abuse can have an enormous effect on mental health. The reactions and emotions following abuse can be overwhelming and difficult to navigate. To gain some support through this, people are recommended to access counselling. Counsellors can work with victims/survivors to help them recognise signs of abuse and help them understand their own behaviours/way of thinking.

Counselling services are crucial as they offer a safe place to explore and work through experiences of abuse.
