Become an Ambassador for Freeva

Freeva are a registered charity working towards reducing domestic violence, rape and sexual assault in Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland.

Our priority is to:

  • help support victims of violence and abuse and their families
  • break the cycle of abuse by helping victims build self-esteem, start afresh and never become victims again
  • break the cycle of abuse by helping perpetrators change their behaviours and confront the abuse many have experienced themselves
  • teach teenagers the importance of caring, respectful and equal relationships with others
  • help women trapped in sex-slavery and victims of traditional harmful practices
  • help people too scared to give evidence in court
  • help people who are suicidal and self-harm

As we help others we need help too.

As a registered charity we are reliant on funding and donations in order to carry out the vital work we do.

We are looking for ambassadors who can help build support for Freeva. This support can take many forms, including one-off financial donations, monthly donations and organising fundraising activities, through to helping raise the profile of Freeva amongst friendship groups and within local communities.

Here’s how your financial support could help…

£5 to purchase activity packs for young people who have been sexually abused

£10 additional staffing hours so that we can take more calls on our helpline

£25 will cover the cost of a counselling session

£50 will cover one to one support for a victim of rape and/or sexual assault.

We would love to hear from you if you think you could help continue to raise awareness and support for Freeva. Simply contact Suki Kaur, our chief executive – Suki@freeva.org.uk or visit our donate page.
