This is a fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic and committed team through supporting our back office functions.  We are looking for an experienced Finance Officer who has at least 3 year’s experience in maintaining accounting systems, book keeping and within payroll.   Ideally, you will have some experience of how the finance function works in the charity sector and you are highly self-motivated.

You will be responsible for providing financial support in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial operations.

Location: Leicester

Salary: £23,000 per year

Job description

Freeva is recruiting for a Service Manager to join The Jenkins Centre team, based in our Leicester office. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and committed team working to make a key difference in the lives of families and children accross Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

The post will have responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the Jenkins Centre project in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, including line management of all staff within the service.

The Jenkins Centre is a Respect Accredited specialist service providing interventions for those wanting to change their behaviour and an integrated partner support service.

Job description

Due to expansion, opportunities have arisen to join our team of passionate and dedicated Interventions workers to work alondside our experienced and established team. The posts will play a key role in delivering The Jenkins Centre programme accross Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Currently our programme is being delivered online due to COVID 19 restrictions, however once safe to do so face to face delivery of the programme will recommence and there will be a requirement to deliver from our city office base and accross the county.

1 x  Interventions Worker (Male 37 hours pw)

1 x Intervention Worker (Female 37 hours pw)

1 x Interventions Worker (18.5 hours pw)

The successful candidates will have experience in delivering frontline services, group work, and be passionate about working with service users to change their behaviour. Evening work is required.

Job description

Due to expansion, Freeva is recruiting for a project support worker to join our dynamic and committed Jenkins Centre team.

Based at our Leicester office, the successful candidate will support the delivery of the adult interventions service for perpetrators of domestic abuse and the young person’s project for young people using violence. The post will involve ensuring the day to day administrative procedures are completed; such as handling client and stake holder enquiries, processing referrals to the service and working with intervetions workers accross the project to keep administrative systems up to date.

A job share and /or flexible working arrangements will be considered.

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team setting up and delivering a domestic abuse perpetrator intervention in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

Freeva and Equation are working in partnership to deliver a new service to perpetrators of domestic abuse. The team of 4 including, Intervention Programme Manager, 2 Programme Workers and a Project Support Worker will:

  • provide interventions that are designed to help people stop using abusive behaviour towards and intimate partner and others.

·work on developing better relationships with loved ones and increasing self-respect.

The program has been run in Leicestershire for 8 years and is Respect accredited.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about preventing domestic abuse and working with people to change their behaviour. Applicants will need:

  • Experience in face to face support, group work and engaging individuals in change.
  • Understanding of domestic abuse and its effect on partners and children.
  • Strong skills in partnership working and teamwork are essential.

Currently funding is available until September 2021 but the partnership will be working to source funding for longer.

We are open to sabbatical and secondment applicants.

Intervention Programme Worker x 2 (1 post employed by Freeva, 1 post employed by Equation)

Salary: £24,646-£26,999 depending on experience.

Job share would be considered for these roles, pro rata salary for part time.
