We offer a range of services to those that have experienced violence and/or abuse and to those that use violence or abuse in their relationships.
Our services are free and confidential, identifying information will be shared with UAVA member agencies only. No information will be shared with external or partner agencies without your consent unless, in exceptional situations, a significant risk to you, your children or others is identified; or we are instructed to do so by a court of law. We will always try and discuss this with you first wherever possible.
Our direct services are for anyone that lives in Leicester,Leicestershire & Rutland however due to how we are funded some of our services maybe restricted to geographical areas - please see the services for further details.
If you have experienced Domestic or Sexual Abuse/Violence
Helpline 0808 80 200 28 - The helpline is a freephone number, which won’t show up on your bill. We are open Monday – Saturday, 8am – 8pm. Calls to the helpline are recorded for training and monitoring purposes.
ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) Service - If you have expereinced rape or sexual abuse recently or in the past then this serviice can help you to report to the police if you choose to do so, through court or to access counselling.
